A lifetime of working with animals
Julie and I (Susan) have both from early childhood been focused on animals, and our pets were the most important things in our lives. As adults we haven't changed. Here are some of the things that we've done over the last 30 years...
Rescue and rehome animals
We've rescued animals (self-funded) for more than 30 years, including many thousands of dogs who we trained and rehomed.

Breed Olderhill GSDs
For more than 30 years we have bred Olderhill German Shepherd Dogs. They are the original large, healthy flat-backed working dogs used by the German army and then by the British police.

Train dogs and owners to track
We became expert dog trainers after training so many thousands of dogs to rehome. We take a dog who has never been on a lead before and 20 MINUTES LATER it has done two good tracks! We have helped catch rhino poachers, other criminals and wounded animals and teach other people and their dogs to do the same.

Breed Blue and Gold Macaws
We breed macaw chicks from our pet birds. We let the parents rear the chicks for 6-8 weeks and then we hand feed for a couple of weeks to make sure that they are tame.

Breed Galah Cockatoos
We also breed Galah Cockatoos in the same way that we do our macaws.

Breed Miniature Pigs
We've bred miniature pigs for more than 30 years as well. We very rarely have piglets nowadays.
